PCA introduces two NEW series of Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) Boost Inductors.

Both of these new series can be used in CCM (continuous-conduction mode) or DCM (discontinuous–conduction mode) and have a 4.5KVrms isolation between the Faraday shield to all windings for use in Commercial or Medical applications.

These new series are a solution to the emerging global mandate on increased PF (power-factor) performance.

       All transformers in the the series have the following characteristics:

• Low Core and Copper Loss for Cooler Operation
• Operates up to 100 % Duty Cycle.
• Operates at 50 - 200 KHz Switching Frequencies
• 4.5 KVms Isolations between Shield and Windings (4.5KVrms)
• With Faraday Shield (except for Toroid type )
• UL1446 Class B Insulation Systems
• UL94V - 0 Recognized Components
