For General Use Applications (SMT) EPC3018G-XXG,
EPC3076G-X
PCA offers its series of SMT transformers in EFD15, EFD20
and ER 11 packages. This series is for Multi-purpose or General
Use. Selected Models can be used in SMPS Forward, Flyback,
Push-Pull or Half and Full Bridge Tology. They could also
be used as Output Inductors for Buck, Forward, or Bridge circuit.
Proper Series or Parallel connections on the users board must
be determined to get the proper turns ratio or inductance
needed for the circuit.
For Low Power Push-Pull Transformer Applications
(SMT)- EPC3115S-X
and EPC3117S-X
PCA makes available its series of SO-8 pin PCAMCIA package
of Low Power Push-Pull Transformer for DC-DC converters. EPC3115S-X
series is the World’s Smallest
push-pull transformer and first
in the Industry to be released in a SO-8 pin PCMCIA package
designed for Maxim Max253 chip . Another parts series is the
EPC3117S-X series which is designed for Maxim Max 845/253.
EPC3117S-X works up to a 1 Mhz switching frequency. Both series
models have a very low core loss for higher efficiency converters.
For Low Power Push-Pull Transformer
Applications (Thru Hole) EPC3126-X, EPC3126G-X
PCA debuts its series of Thru-Hole package Low Power Push-Pull
Transformers for DC-DC converters. EPC3126-X series is the
World’s Smallest Thru-Hole
size for 4.5KVrms Hipot/Isolation designed for the Maxim Max253/845
chip. EPC3126-X works up to a 1 Mhz switching frequency and
up to 1 watt of power.
For Flyback Transformer Applications
(EPC3127-X,
EPC3129-X,
EPC3130-X, EPC3132-X)
PCA introduces three NEW series of SMPS Flyback transformers
for AC-DC power supply Converters. All models meets or exceed
IEC/TUV/VDE specifications for Creepage, Clearance, and Dielectric
Strength. Guaranteed to meet 4.5Vrms isolation voltage with
Reinforced Insulation -Triple Insulated Wire. The use of Triple
Insulated Wire(TIW) will result in a 30%-50% reduction in
transformer size as compared to using conventional wires on
secondary sides. Designed to be used with Power Integration
Chips (Tiny Switch-II, Top Switch-FX and Top Switch-GX Family).
